NYE Warmup Concert with a Live Audience
While live gigs have been few and far between, online streaming has been a lifeline helping musicians stay connected with patrons and fans of our music. Together with Espresso 77, we produced an early online series called E77 Remote Live, bringing E77 regular performers into people's living rooms while the city was shut down in the height of the NYC pandemic. It was a breath of fresh air that ran it's course as a regular live stream.
Moving forward into 2021, we teamed up with Jenny Van West to produce a new and improved live show from the safe comforts of home. The show will feature the music of Jenny Van West (Portland, ME) and Jonny Meyers (Queens, NY), door prizes, segments and more. What's different here is that there will be a visible audience present throughout the show, not just in the comments section.
For that, we are switching over to ZOOM, making the show exclusive to this invite, and will not be replaying the show to any streaming social media. In essence, it's a gig with a specific time and place. The show will take place on December 31st and will be from 7:00-8:15pm. There is a suggested donation for individuals and/or households, but you can also request a free ticket if you are hurting in any way. Nobody will be turned away at the door.
